Privacy Policy

What we collect

When you create an account we collect your email, a public handle (mAITag), and — only if you choose to provide them — your name, phone number, country, and gender. When you use mAISpace we store the products you save (including photos you upload) and your social activity on the platform (follows, likes, comments, family groups).

What's public

Your mAITag, display name, avatar, and any products you mark public are visible to anyone. Products you keep private are visible only to you. Products you share to a family group are visible to that group's members only. Your email, phone number, and other personal details are never shown publicly.

How we use your data

To run mAISpace: showing your journal, powering search and feeds, identifying products you scan (product photos are processed by an AI service for identification only), and surfacing price information on products your circles have saved. We do not sell your personal data.

Where it lives

Your data is stored with Supabase (database, authentication, and file storage) and our app is hosted on Vercel. Both are covered by their own security and compliance programs.

Cookies & advertising

mAISpace uses cookies and similar technologies for sign-in, saved preferences (such as your light/dark theme), and basic analytics.

We also show ads. Third-party vendors, including Google, use cookies to serve ads based on your prior visits to mAISpace and other websites. Google's use of advertising cookies enables it and its partners to serve ads to you based on your visit to our site and/or other sites on the Internet.

You can opt out of personalized advertising by visiting Google Ads Settings. You can review the full list of ad technology providers we may work with here, and opt out of personalized advertising from participating vendors at aboutads.info. If you are in the EEA, UK, or Switzerland, you will be asked for consent before personalized ads are shown. California residents may request that we not sell or share personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising by emailing us at the address below.

The above excludes text messaging originator opt-in data and consent; this information will not be shared with any third parties.

Text messages (SMS)

Text notifications are optional and off by default. If you add a phone number on mAIAccount, verify it with a one-time code, and turn on Text notifications, we will send you transactional texts about your circles: an invitation to a family or friends circle, a new follower, or something a member added to a space you share. We do not send marketing texts.

Message frequency varies with activity in your circles; a typical member receives a few messages per month. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to any message to opt out, or switch off Text notifications on mAIAccount; reply HELP for help. Consent to receive texts is not a condition of using mAISpace.

Mobile information will not be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Your phone number is used only to verify it is yours and to deliver the messages you opted into. It is stored on our servers, sent to our messaging provider (Twilio) solely to deliver those messages, and is never shown to other members or sold. The above excludes text messaging originator opt-in data and consent; this information will not be shared with any third parties.

Your choices

You can edit your profile and product visibility at any time, and you can permanently delete your account — including all products, photos, and activity — from mAIAccount. Deletion is immediate and irreversible.
