Child safety standards

Last updated: October 28, 2026

mAISpace is a place for families, and keeping children safe comes first. We have zero tolerance for child sexual abuse and exploitation (CSAE), including child sexual abuse material (CSAM). These standards apply to everyone who uses the app mAISpace on iOS, Android and the web.

What is never allowed

  • Any sexual image, video, drawing, text or AI-made content involving someone under 18
  • Sharing, asking for, or linking to child sexual abuse material
  • Grooming: building trust with a child in order to abuse or exploit them
  • Sexual messages to a child, or asking a child for images
  • Threatening or pressuring a child for images, money or a meeting (sextortion)
  • Sexualising children in posts, comments or messages
  • Any form of child trafficking or exploitation

Young people on mAISpace

  • You must be at least 13 to have an account. Children under 13 are not allowed.
  • A member whose birthday shows they are under 18 can never be found by search, even if they turn on being findable. Strangers cannot look them up.

How to report

In the app: tap the flag (Report) on the post, photo, comment or message and choose Child safety.

By email: write to support@maispace.net with the subject “Child safety”. Tell us where you saw it: the circle, the person's name and roughly when. Please do not send us the images themselves.

If a child is in danger right now, call 911 or your local emergency number first. You can also report directly to the NCMEC CyberTipline at report.cybertip.org or 1-800-843-5678.

What we do

  • We review every child safety report within 24 hours.
  • Content that breaks these standards is removed.
  • Confirmed child sexual abuse material is reported to the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children (NCMEC) and to law enforcement, and the account that shared it is removed.
  • We follow the child safety laws that apply to us and work with the authorities when they ask.
