• Account information. When you sign up we collect your email address, username (your mAITag), and a password, which is stored securely by our authentication provider. You may also choose to provide your first name, last name, and shipping address.
• Content you create. Products you save (name, brand, category, description, images, ratings, prices, and notes), your public profile, and your public/private settings for each item.
• Family connections. When you connect with other members, we store the connection and any related family requests.
• Usage data. Information collected automatically when you use the Services, such as device and browser type, IP address, pages viewed, and interactions.
• Cookies and similar technologies used to keep you signed in, remember preferences, and understand usage.

2. How We Use Your Information

• Provide, operate, secure, and maintain the Services;
• Create and manage your account, profile, and content;
• Display your public content to others as you direct;
• Enable family connections and the family feed;
• Power affiliate and earnings features, including attributing and paying your share;
• Improve, personalize, and develop the Services;
• Communicate with you about service updates and support;
• Detect, prevent, and address fraud, abuse, and technical issues; and
• Comply with legal obligations.

3. Public vs. Private Information

Items you mark public, along with your public profile (your mAITag and public products), are visible to anyone — including people without an account — and may be indexed by search engines. Items you mark private are visible only to you. Your email address, shipping address, and private items are never shown on your public profile. The family feed displays only the public products of members you are connected with.

4. How We Share Information

We do not sell your personal information. We share information only as described here:

• Service providers. We use trusted third parties to host and operate the Services (for example, Supabase for our database and authentication, and Vercel for hosting). They process data on our behalf under appropriate safeguards.
• Affiliate partners. When affiliate links are used, limited transaction data may be shared with partners to attribute purchases and pay your share.
• Legal and safety. We may disclose information to comply with applicable law, enforce our terms, or protect the rights, property, or safety of our users and the public.
• Business transfers. In connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, information may be transferred as part of that transaction.

5. Blockchain Features

Certain features may record data on a decentralized or blockchain ledger. Information written to a blockchain can be public, permanent, and may not be changeable or deletable. Please do not place sensitive personal information into fields that are stored on a blockchain.

6. Data Retention

We retain your information while your account is active and for as long as needed to provide the Services, comply with our legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements. Public content and any information recorded on a blockchain may persist after account deletion.

7. Your Rights and Choices

• Access and update your account details (name, shipping address) and content at any time from your mAIAccount page;
• Mark items public or private, and delete products you have added;
• Disconnect family connections at any time;
• Request deletion of your account by contacting us.

8. Data Security

We use industry-standard measures — including encryption in transit, access controls, and secure authentication — to protect your information. However, no method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

9. Cookies & Tracking

We use cookies and similar technologies for authentication, preferences, and analytics. You can control cookies through your browser settings, although some features may not work properly without them.

10. Children’s Privacy

The Services are not directed to children under 13 (or the minimum age required in your jurisdiction), and we do not knowingly collect their personal information. If you believe a child has provided us information, please contact us and we will delete it.
